We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer (Manual Testing) who is passionate about quality assurance and eager to learn software testing practices.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios to ensure product quality.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using issue tracking tools.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements.
- Perform functional testing, UI testing, and regression testing.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved.
- Assist in improving testing processes and documentation.
- Participate in product reviews and provide feedback on usability.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Knowledge of manual testing concepts such as test cases, bug reporting, and regression testing.
- Good understanding of web applications and APIs.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, ClickUp, Trello, etc.) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and APIs is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or related field.
- Internship or training experience in software testing is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing is a plus but not required.
